This policy explains what data the Syria Tracking (OTS) service — our website and Android app — processes, how it is used, and how we protect it. Syria Tracking is an operational tool used by authorized staff of a subscribing organization to run order and delivery operations. You sign in with an account your organization provides.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and role, used to sign you in and control access.
- Customer & order data you enter: customer name, phone number, delivery address, products, and the order value / cash-on-delivery (COD) amount.
- Photos: images of delivery receipts you capture with the camera to record cash-on-delivery.
- Shipment & tracking data received from carriers (Masarat, Babel Express).
- App activity: in-app actions needed to operate the service and keep it secure.
We do NOT collect your device location, contacts, calendar, or microphone. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
2. App permissions and why we ask
- Camera — to photograph cash-on-delivery receipts. Optional; the app works without it.
- Notifications — to alert you about new orders, out-for-delivery and delivery events.
- Biometrics (fingerprint / face) — an optional app-lock that stays on your device and is never sent to us.
3. How we use data
Data is used solely to operate the delivery service — validating orders, dispatching shipments, tracking deliveries, collecting cash-on-delivery, sending operational alerts, and producing reports. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
4. Sharing with carriers
To deliver an order, the recipient and shipment details required (name, phone, address, COD amount) are transmitted to the carrier you select (Masarat or Babel Express), acting as our service provider strictly to fulfill that delivery. We do not share your data with any other third party, and we never sell data.
5. Security
Access is role-based and password-protected, with an optional biometric app-lock. Traffic is served over HTTPS only. Credentials must be kept confidential and not shared. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in storage and in transit.
6. Data retention
Operational records are retained as long as needed for order fulfillment, accounting and legitimate business purposes, then archived or removed.
7. Your rights & data deletion
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal account data. Because accounts are managed by your organization, contact your administrator, or email us at nadjiballahwork@gmail.com and we will action verified requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.
8. Children
Syria Tracking is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
